Hello everyone,
As the title suggests, we have now been away for just under a week. We have seen Delhi and Udaipur, and are off for Jailsamer tonight on a sleeper bus!
Delhi was hot and crazy, and unfortunately Robyn was feeling quite unwell for most of the three days we spent there but still managed to see the main attraction of The Red Fort which as quite impressive. We couldn’t walk 5 metres without someone hassling us and telling us the wrong thing. Just buying a train ticket is crazy over here, and there is a special tourist booking office. The food in Delhi was great and has been in general so far.
Udaipur is a small city based around a lake. There is a Palace is the middle of the lake where they filmed parts of Octopussy. Its a lot more laid back than Dehli and we have really enjoyed our time here. There was a festival (we’ve heard there is festival just about every day somewhere in India) where there were 2 big circles, one of men and the other of women, and they walked in opposite directions for an hour and a half and tapped sticks in time to loud music. It was interesting to say the least.
Anyway, as mentioned before we are heading to Jaisalmer tonight, where we plan on doing an overnight camel safari. I will try to keep the blog up to date.
All the best,
Glen and Robyn
P.S. I have now aded these photos after locating a cable. Enjoy.

Awesome. I love the cheeky camel and the amazing food that Robyn was eating. It looks so surreal to me, sitting here at the office. What a wonderful time you both must be having. Regds, mish.
