Well it’s been well over a year since the last post, but as we’re heading overseas again this coming Saturday, now is as good a time as any to post an update.
First of all, the big news is that after almost 8 years being a happy couple we finally got engaged. Over the last weekend we celebrated our engagment party, which a lot of you would have come to so we hope you enjoyed yourselves. Here is a picture of Robyn and I enjoying the day.

On our trip, our first stop is India where we arrive in Delhi at 2:00am in the morning which should be interesting. For the first two weeks while we acclimatise to the weather, travelling again and India itself, we’ll take in some of India’s most famous sights like the Taj Mahal and the holy city of Varanasi. From there we’ll head into Nepal where we will spend the majority of 2 months hiking around the Himalayas. We’ll then spend a further 2 months doing what we can fit in around India before flying through London to Vancouver. From there the plan is a little sketchy, but we can work for two years on our Canadian working holiday visa.
We plan on continuing the Blog for all of you who are interested to follow our adventures. We hope you enjoy it again, and we’ll hopefully see some of you in Vancouver.
