Over the Australia day weekend, we did what will probably be one of our last shakedown trips before the big adventure. We spent 3 days of perfect weather right on the Murray where we were able to relax, try out the van and everything we have put in it.
The kids were able to spend many hours on the water as we were with our friends who had a boat and a jet ski. Both Ollie and Lily have mastered knee boarding and they are already asking when we can go back.
We were even able to watch both the womens and mens Aus Open finals as everyone had pretty slick setups.
We are pretty happy with the van and the car after all our shake downs and are now in the final stages of our planning before we head off on the adventure of a lifetime.
